Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

To ensure full transparency and a seamless, frictionless booking experience, please carefully review the following rate notes, amenity guidelines, and core property policies: Occupancy, Serenity, and Community Respect House Heron is a family-oriented property located in a quiet, peaceful residential neighborhood. We strictly enforce maximum occupancy limits at all times. Events, parties, and disruptive gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. To ensure the safety of our physical property and the peace of our neighbors, we utilize privacy-compliant noise decibel and occupancy monitoring devices on the exterior of the home. Violation of the party policy or occupancy limits will result in immediate cancellation of the reservation without a refund and potential removal from the premises. Canine Companions and Local Municipal Regulations We gladly welcome well-behaved dogs, subject to a standard pet fee. This fee covers the additional, rigorous deep-cleaning required to maintain our high healthcare-standard hygiene protocols. We provide a large dog crate, bowls, and towels. Please note that local municipal ordinances strictly dictate beach access for dogs, and fines are heavily enforced by local authorities. From October 1st through March 31st, leashed dogs are allowed on Carolina Beach at any time, and off-leash under voice command at Freeman Park. During the peak summer season (April 1st through September 30th), dogs are only permitted on the municipal beach before 9:00 AM and after 5:00 PM, and must be strictly leashed. Dogs are absolutely never permitted on the wooden historical parts of the Carolina Beach Boardwalk or the central business district. Watercraft Liability and Kayak Usage We are exceptionally pleased to offer complimentary kayaks for your enjoyment, perfect for launching at the nearby River Road State Park or Zeke's Island. Please note that all guests utilizing the kayaks must formally sign a standard Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, and Indemnity Agreement prior to use. By utilizing the equipment, guests explicitly assume all inherent risks associated with watercraft activities, including but not limited to river currents, sudden weather changes, hidden obstructions, and equipment function. USCG-approved life jackets must be worn at all times while utilizing the kayaks. Rental Agreement and Age Restrictions Upon booking, guests will receive a secure link to review and sign our Seashell Manor LLC digital Rental Agreement, processed securely via OwnerRez. This agreement must be executed prior to check-in and encompasses our standard house rules, cancellation policies, and the aforementioned watercraft liability waiver. Furthermore, the primary booking guest must be at least 25 years of age and must be physically present at the property for the entire duration of the reserved dates.
